My K-1 Visa Timeline

I always talk about my LDR and hopes for an end date in the near future. It can be difficult at times to think of “some day” being together, but every once in awhile you come across a truly inspirational success story. I just met Wannie through LDRBN within the last couple of weeks and I wanted to learn more about her so I decided to go check out some of her older posts. I came across this one from about a month ago and it gave me so much hope for my future. Wannie was in a LDR, but now she is happily married to her long distance boyfriend. They closed the gap and started the rest of their life together. Congratulations to Wannie and her husband!!! Check out their story here:

Wax's World

Hello, everyone! In case you don’t know yet, I had been in a long-distance relationship for five years and now it’s over. Because, I’m now with the love of my life. 🙂 Yes, you heard it right! We finally closed the gap! He is from the United States and I’m from the Philippines.  We undertook the K-1 Visa (also known as Fiance Visa) process and we’re now happily married!

Of course, it’s not an easy process but it’s worth it. I am writing this post for people who are currently or will be taking the same process. I also used to search for others’ stories and experiences for some encouragement. One of the blogs that helped me a lot is mrspresson.com.
